Description
The wide Fråst ring with local stone combines the collection's characteristic surface with a cabochon-cut local stone from Tromsø. Inspired by the Norwegian winter, where frost leaves its mark on the Arctic mountains.
Each ring is individually made by hand in our workshop using sand casting. The goldsmith builds the pattern by pressing needles into the sand mold, before the silver is cast. The stones are picked by our goldsmiths in the mountains around Tromsø with permission from the landowners, before they are polished and set by hand. Small variations in stone and surface are a natural part of the process.
