Description
The wide Fråst ring with Local Stone combines the collection's characteristic surface with a cabochon-cut Local Stone from Tromsø. The inspiration comes from the Norwegian winter, where frost leaves its mark on the Arctic mountains.
Each ring is individually hand-made in our workshop using sand casting. The goldsmith builds the pattern by pressing needles into the sand mold before casting the silver. The stones are picked by our goldsmiths in the mountains around Tromsø with permission from the landowners, before being polished and set by hand. Small variations in stone and surface are a natural part of the process.
