Remelting of gold

There are many reasons to melt down your gold. Maybe you have a cherished piece of jewelry, a ring that no longer fits, or an old piece of gold with sentimental value. Give it new life – for example, as a golden heart for a newborn.

Gold is too valuable to be hidden away. Let's give it new life with a design you'll wear with pride and joy.

What happens when we melt gold?

When we receive your gold, we weigh it and test its karat and authenticity. You can then choose one of our models, or we can design something unique for you. Our ring models require 5-20 grams of gold, and we can supplement if necessary.

We work closely with you throughout the process to ensure the result meets your wishes. When remelting, you only pay for the labor, with prices starting at NOK 2,500. If you wish, we can also add stones or diamonds.

The remelting takes place in our studio, and we guarantee that it is your gold that is used in your new jewelry.

“The experience here was exceptional, from the first email until I received the rings.

I inherited my great-great-grandparents' wedding rings. They were refurbished and engraved with my and my husband's names. I also sent in a number of other gold rings that were melted down into a new and unique ceremonial ring for me.

Communication with Dagmar was great throughout the planning process. We received an accurate price estimate and the rings were arranged faster than expected. Plus, everything was delivered in the cutest little wooden ring boxes. Highly recommended!
