The website is protected with SSL/TLS (Secure Sockets Layer / Transport Layer Security), which ensures that all transactions between users and the website are encrypted using the HTTPS protocol. Our web server is hosted at PRO ISP .

WordPress & WooCommerce

Our publishing platform is WordPress. No personal information is shared with WordPress, but is stored on our web server in Norway.

When you make a purchase, we collect and process your personal data in connection with that sale. Georg Jensen may collect, process and store the following types of personal data about you:

  • Information about your order/purchase history 
  • Digital footprints (e.g. anonymized information about how you use the online store or information about a forgotten shopping cart)

The purposes of the processing

  • User account administration in connection with your purchase
  • Administration of shipments, returns and complaints
  • Sending marketing in continuation of your previous purchases with us, unless you do not wish this
  • Statistics and analysis for the purpose of improving our products and services

Basis of treatment 

Wabi Sabi processes your personal data on the following grounds:

  • Contractual obligations: We process your personal data to fulfill the purchase agreement that we have entered into with you, including to be able to deliver goods that you have ordered, handle complaints, returns, etc., related to your purchase (Article 6, paragraph 1, letter b of the General Data Protection Regulation).
  • Legitimate interests and consent: We process your personal data on the basis of our legitimate interest in marketing ourselves to you in cases where consent is not required under marketing legislation, as well as our legitimate interest in being able to conduct statistics and analysis in order to develop and improve our services (Article 6, Section 1, Letter f of the General Data Protection Regulation).   

Storage period 

Your personal data will be deleted when we no longer need to process it to fulfill one or more of the above-mentioned purposes. Your personal data that is covered by the Accounting Act's rules on the retention of accounting records will be retained for 5 years from the end of the accounting year to which the accounting records apply.

The information may still be processed and stored longer in anonymized form, or if we are obligated to do so by law.

Contact form

We use Gravity Forms to receive inquiries via our contact form. All inquiries are stored in our database for 6 months and then permanently deleted. Enquiries are also sent in copy to you (sender) and to post@wabisabi.no (recipient) via email from our web server. Your IP address is not stored with us when you submit an inquiry. We use Google reCaptcha to prevent malicious software from abusing our website. Read more about Google's privacy policy here.

Cookies

On this website we log completely anonymous information about all visitors. We use cookies mainly for traffic measurement and content optimization. This information cannot be traced back to you as an individual. All IP addresses are anonymized.

We use the analysis tool Google Analytics to study traffic, usage patterns and trends on the website. The collected data is used to optimize the user experience and customize the website content. According to Google's Google Analytics policy, no personal information about you as a user is collected. The collected data is stored on Google's servers.
